In your opinion, what is the biggest change you've seen in your industry since you first started?

Clients want an expert in the business. They want to get the pricing they desire without compromising the important coverage that they need. They actually appreciate professionalism more and more today than they did even five years ago. People want the very best coverage, excellent service, and accessibility. I think the biggest change is that people expect to be able to do business outside of the standard business hours. In response to growing client expectations, our office is available to assist people with their insurance needs 24 hours a day. If people want to do business at 6 a.m. or 10 p.m. we are there to assist them. Insurance can be viewed by many as a commodity, but with all of the risks and losses an individual is subject to, having the very best insurance with the proper coverage is a smart decision.

What inspired you to become involved with the Coweta Community Foundation?

I have always been passionate about service and giving back. I moved to Coweta County in 2009 to open my business. I call Coweta County my home. My present and my future is here. When I was presented with the opportunity to get involved with CCF I was excited about making an impact in the community in which I live. It has proved to be an excellent way to reach and impact the people who need it most right in our backyard. What I most enjoy is serving with other passionate, like minded individuals that want to leave a lasting mark on the county in which we reside. Our work is never complete and there is always something new and exciting that inspires us to take action.

What is the most important life lesson you've learned along the way?

I have learned that I am more than just an insurance agent. I have learned the importance of living on purpose and impacting everyone that I come into contact with on a daily basis. Each client presents an opportunity to provide a service or share some knowledge that can make a difference. I am extremely conscious about providing the best experience and impact that I possibly can for each client that I am so fortunate to encounter. I feel that it is my responsibility to make sure they are protected from all of the things life can send their way. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I consider it a privilege.
