Newk’s celebrates 10 years

The Coweta location of Newk’s Express Café in Ashley Park has only been open two years, but the parent company is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2014.

Newk’s began as a small, locally-owned sandwich shop in Oxford, Miss. The company now has 66 stores in 13 states, and is one of the country’s fastest-growing restaurant chains. The company plans to open 15 restaurants in 2014, and hopes to have a total of 200 locations by 2019.

Regions wins Greenwich Excellence Awards

Regions Bank has been recognized by Greenwich Associates for providing distinguished quality service to middle market clients.

The banking company received six National Greenwich Excellence Awards in Middle Market Banking in 2013. The awards were for overall satisfaction, likelihood to recommend, relationship manager capacity, online services, treasury management — overall satisfaction, and treasury management — customer service.

Greenwich Excellence Awards are based on feedback from nearly 14,000 middle market businesses that rated their banks in various categories, including customer service, product capabilities and likelihood to recommend.
