What is your own personal business philosophy?

For me, customer service is number one. Having good customer service along with happy employees is the key to a successful business in my experience. If you’re successful at maintaining great relationships with both your customers and your employees, it’s going to be much easier for you.

What’s the best business advice you’ve ever received?

If your work is your passion, just keep trying to succeed. Make sure you take everything with a grain of salt. You have to make sure to appreciate all the little things and strive for the great and if you fall, get up. That’s what I tell my kids all the time. No matter what kind of day you’re having, you just have to keep trying.

What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out in this industry?

My advice to someone just starting out would be to manage your expectations and watch your bottom line. Don’t create unrealistic goals. You have to make sure that you love what you do because you’re going to be doing it for a while. I’ve never understood that go to work and hate their jobs but won’t take the time to find what they would like.
